The service I received from i-Boutique has been absolutely fantastic. I needed documents from Department Home Affairs... that dated back as far as 1926 and then there were documents that I did not even know existed. I asked for these and i-Boutique delivered. They work in an incredibly difficult environment having to deal with stressed out Clients (or in my case a singular stressed out client) in a totally dysfunctional SA Government Department. Yet somehow they always managed to convince me that they have it under control, patiently and constantly explaining the processes to me. And at the end, the documents were delivered. A great thank you to the team at i-Boutique and if you were not present to assist me I would have given up my Foreign Nationality application process a very very long time ago. I don't often give a 5-star review but in this instance i-Boutique more than deserves it.read more

I have just... recently been approved for my British Citizenship and am to receive an invite for my oath ceremony at any time so having a retention of citizenship certificate in a hurry was a real need. I can highly recommend Immigration Boutique for all your passport requirements. Eloise Botha definitely went the extra... mile, she calmed my nerves and came through with our retention letters in record time and an (impossible) determination letter for our German grandfather. We did not have all his correct info when we applied months ago and the application had disappeared into the Home Affairs system because of that. She managed to sort it out - she found his correct South African ID number, expedited the letter and made sure it was at Pretoria Central Home Affairs so that we could just walk in and collect the original. She kept me updated the whole way through the process and I cannot thank her enough. I have to add that if there was a 10 star review for professionalism I would give it to them.read more

Personally I had a very good experience. Couriered DHL from and to (prepaid) Canada. Police clearance, birth and... marriage certificates, all apostilled in 3 months. No glitches - I was sure to communicate clearly and frequently, checking and confirming all the way. I really felt that I was dealing with people that understand what they are doing. Disappointed to report that I have received shockingly poor service from the get go from the Unabridged Birth... Certificate (UBC) Department. We applied for our UBC’s in September 2021 and contacted i-Boutique in January to expedite the process. They received our full payment and all the required documents between 26 and 28 January. From the get go, there were multiple errors in the process, but we didn’t have a choice to get professional assistance. We got the wrong account with people’s personal confidential information on multiple occasions, all the way from wrong invoices and wrong quotes with sensitive information to highly confidential personal apostelled documents that was not ours. Unfortunately we also did not receive updates and had to ask weekly for updates and explanations, with the same generic responses that seemed highly untrue and assuming one has no idea how the process works, or using technical jargon that was either made up (never heard of before) or has no meaning to someone outside of the consultants’ offices. I know after spending many months on the phone with Home Affairs how challenging it can be, but our consultant took full advantage of the fact that we are abroad, cannot personally follow up and verify her reports and claims, and has to date provided no job or call references to evidence that anything has actually been done. The irony of it all, is that our UBC’s has supposedly been ready for print and collection, respectively, since about 17 February 2022. We are on 19 March, and despite numerous follow ups with our consultant and no feedback from her despite the same generic or nonsensical responses, we have no idea where these documents are in the process. To top this all off, our consultant seems highly disorganized and has very poor basic professional writing ability. It has just been a doubtful process through and through with our consultant. I have tried to resolve this by contacting our consultant telephonically and via email to resolve this, and by emailing multiple other consultants at Immigration Boutique, unfortunately to no avail. The basic response, if I get a response, is that they will follow up and let me know, with no such follow ups given. I hoped to avoid posting this review at all costs, but I feel like I have run out of options to get very basic transparant feedback or service.read more

AVOID !!!! Their unprofessional chewing gum and string type of website should be the first red flag but still, thought... that it may be worth giving them a chance. The result was really disappointing and exceptionally poor "service". After waiting a year for a birth certificate (with an ID number, so it wasn't complicated) we eventually gave up and found someone else to do it. This person managed to deliver what we wanted only a week after applying. Dealing with the immigration boutique people involves constant chasing these people up, and only on a good day, when they have nothing better to do, can you expect an answer. When this happens, it is generally a standard email that is copy/pasted from somewhere else, but so slap dash that the copy/paste part is in a different colour and a different font, which shows the level of professionalism you can expect. Sure the application takes a while but more than a year for a week's worth of work is totally unacceptable. I really suggest that if you are looking for services like the ones which they supposedly offer then to keep looking, or do it yourself. You're likely to save money and immense frustration (yes, standing in a queue at Home Affairs is less frustrating than the "service" which is given by Immigration Boutique)read more

Lies lies and more lies. They make messes, refuse to fix them, have catty and bullying attitudes depending on if you... speak to men or women. They'll misquote, or pretend they can do things they can't. And when they get found out, they'll say the job was not their 'core business'. You pay them upfront, and when you discover their mess, they refuse to refund you and blame you or a 3rd party for their mistakes. Go anywhere else but these muppets.read more
